- Iris Jugo, a Spanish-born cellist, working in Manchester, England has received degrees in violoncello from the Conservatorio
professional de Musica de Salamanca and the Rotterdam Conservatory in Holland. She has studied under Herre-Jan
Stengenga and Michel Dispa and chamber music with Daniel quartet, Jan Grathuizen, Leo Berensen, Jan Wij and Christopher Rowland.
- In 2004 she was admitted at the RNCM where she under Karine Georgian a for a 2 year postgraduate certificate.
- Iris Jugo has won the Damaso price for cello solo and she very much enjoys chamber music. She is a member
of several groups: Frida Kahlo String trio, The Erasmus trio
and
the Hana Trio.
- She performs regularly in Holland, England and Spain. She has record several compositions for cello solo ( Amelias’
will from E. Molero) and string trios from Dohany, Schubert and Haydn.
